We welcome all shooters from Beginner to Expert!
New to shooting sports or maybe even shooting period? Our leadership team is made up of top notch instructors certified by the Nation Rifle Association, Department of Defense, State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and the International Defense Pistol Association.
HPDS Membership Fees
The annual membership fee for HPDS is $25.00 per person. You must be 18 years of age or older unless monitored strictly by a parent or legal guardian. As a member of HPDS you are not obligated to attend or participate in every event. The point is to be fun and laid back, so attend when you can.
Portage Rod & Gun Club Fees
A $10 day pass is available in place of a full years membership. Annual membership is set at $50 + 4 work hours. All HPDS Members are required to obtain active memberships at Portage Rod & Gun Club for insurance coverage. Helping set up HPDS matches counts towards work hours requirement.

IDPA Membership
Hollow Point Defensive Shooters is an IDPA Affiliated Club.
You are not required to be a member of IDPA to shoot with us. Although, we do strongly encourage all of our members to support the IDPA and become members.
Becoming a member of Hollow Point Defensive Shooters is EASY!
All you need to do is fill out the Application Form and Liability Waiver and Mail them in! Please include a check for $25.00 made out to Hollow Point Defensive Shooters.

Once you are a member you are eligible to attend all HPDS training and other events. As a member you will also receive special rates towards club gear and a 50% discount on all HPDS Matches.
